Great starter camera for young children! Review after 6 months. Great starter camera for my 5 year old, easy to use. PROS: Long battery life. Lasts about 2 3 hours if she runs around the house nonstop, taking pointless pictures of walls and random objects. Comes with tons of paper, and 6 months later, it's still not empty. The picture quality is pretty decent, even without the flash. Comes with everything you need: charger and SD card. The SD card can store tons of pictures. The camera can also record videos. The camera also has cute little games for them to play. It comes with a handy lanyard and clip to keep the camera from falling. CONS: The camera can sometimes be a little difficult to open to change the paper. I almost broke my finger a couple of times. It can take a while for the child to figure out how to tear off the paper properly. It took my daughter a few months. If it's not torn off properly, the camera will jam, and you'll end up wasting a lot of paper. Overall, a great gift. Six months after Christmas, and this isn't a gift that's going to be buried at the bottom of her toy box, so I'd say this is a win!

Perfect for young girls! I gave this to my daughter for her birthday. I liked that the film was on a roll and she could take as many photos as she wanted. I could clearly see how much fun she had with the camera! The picture quality was decent, but the device was definitely worth the price. An absolute must have for any young child who loves photography! Mine is between 6 and 8 years old. The design is great, the build quality is good, the image quality is decent for what it offers, and the color of the camera is cute. While I like black and white pictures, I wish there was a color option!

Almost a perfect art camera. This thing is fantastic for artistic photography. I have tons of fun with it. The thermal prints are so much fun. The black and white photo is a thermal print that I scanned with a flatbed scanner. The built in effects are fantastic. I had so much fun with the mirror effects. If you want a vintage look, set the photo resolution to 1 megapixel and shoot in black and white. Low resolution digital black and white photos are great. Unfortunately, there is one problem with this camera: you can't turn off the date and time stamp. But other than that, it's fantastic if you want to get artistic. I love playing with cheap, crappy, low resolution cameras. This is another fantastic addition to my collection.

Great camera. I bought this camera for my 4 year old. He takes it everywhere and creates his own little memories with awesome paper pirates. I recommend saving the sheets to keep the picture from fading. Since then, I've bought four more of these cameras as gifts for other children. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to use ours lately because our charger doesn't seem to be working. I tried a different charger, but the camera started charging but then stopped. So I'm hoping it's the charger and not the camera.

Easy to use. I like how easy this camera is for my 6 year old to use! The only downside: The prints aren't great. They tend to be either too light or too dark. Also, the ink needs to be changed after two rolls of paper. I'm not even sure how to change the ink cartridge, or if that's even possible.

Good camera, poor print quality. This product is great. Our 6 and 8 year olds love it. It's incredibly easy to use and print pictures. They had a blast taking pictures of everything and everyone in the house. The only downside is the quality of the photos: They're very grainy and blurry, even if the photo looks sharp on the camera. The kids didn't seem to mind, though.

My 5 year old loves it. I've taken it on trips, and my 5 year old takes pictures and prints them. This photo is from our trip. The camera has a feature that turns off the printer. I'm not sure how to do this, but my 5 year old knows. We told her to stop printing and just take pictures. It also comes with a memory card so you can store more photos. No more stealing Mom and Dad's phones to take random photos!

Cool product. My daughter loves it, but like some other reviews, the camera was out of ink, and I searched everywhere for a solution… it doesn't work; it's out of ink. After a bit of troubleshooting, I had her change the roll, which was almost empty anyway, and after that, it worked perfectly. Aside from a little frustration, it's a pretty good product; my 11 and 14 year olds really like it.

The ink runs out faster than the paper. The camera is great. My son loves it. I also have games on it. However, the images are noticeably brighter and almost impossible to read when printed. I don't know how to fix this since it's not ink, but it's frustrating for my son when he wants to print the pictures. Now I'm wasting paper, too.

Buy it, they'll thank you. I bought it for all my grandchildren, and they love it, from the youngest at 5 to the oldest at 11. Boys and girls alike. They're kept busy with it for a very long time. This camera can do so much. It's incredible. I definitely recommend it. You have to take it away from them, because they won't let it go on their own. Buy a separate one for each child, otherwise there will be war in the house. Take my advice, you won't regret it.

Surprised. Really surprised by this camera. I bought it for my 10 year old and didn't want to spend a lot on the larger cameras, knowing she'd cut up the pictures for crafts. These actually turned out pretty well, even though they're black and white. They're fun to play around with. I'm not sure how long the pictures will last, but she's having fun with them! It's only happened to me a couple of times, but when printing, she puts black spots over the picture and messes it up. Maybe she's printing too much. I would definitely buy it again.

Great for kids. My sister gave my son one of these little cameras for his birthday, and we loved it so much that I just ordered another one to give to my niece and nephew for Christmas. He took over 100 pictures, and it took about a roll of paper to print them. He has two rolls left, and we just ordered more. The rolls are so inexpensive, much cheaper than any other instant camera, and the quality, while black and white, is still pretty good for a kid's camera.

The standard is low, but it's a nice product. At this price, I knew this product wouldn't be perfect, but after a few uses, the prints seemed to run out of ink, and since there's no ink, it can't be replaced. Such cute, great pictures. I bought it for my friend's son, but while preparing it for him, I took a few photos of my dog to test it out. Cute gift for young children. I bought this camera for my daughter's birthday. The price and colors won me over. I wanted something she could use, but if it broke, it wouldn't be a big deal. I think she used up a whole roll of film the first day! She loves taking pictures of everything! It took us a minute to figure out how to assemble and use it. Does she use it daily? No. But it's different enough from her other everyday toys that she uses it often. Would I buy it again? Yes. Would I recommend it/give it as a gift? Yes.

The images are primarily intended for children's enjoyment. The resulting images are printed in black and white on something that looks like receipt paper. Young children enjoy having disposable instant photos, and my nieces and nephews will enjoy using them. There are also fun, primitive, "old school" video games that are really fun.

My 4 year old LOVES this camera! My granddaughter uses it constantly. It's easy to turn on and operate. She loves the paper pictures that pop out with every click of the button. It takes a little help from parents to load new paper and get the settings right, but overall, it's perfect for a child who's ready to take on a little responsibility. Paper is easy to reorder!

100% satisfied. After buying one for a 5 year old, I realized I wanted one too! Haha! It's a really great product. It's easy to use and never runs out of ink. It doesn't consume any ink! Uses thermal printing technology. The refill papers are also quite inexpensive. All in all, a great purchase. I've now given two as gifts and bought one for myself.

Worked much better than expected. We gave it to our daughter for her birthday, and it was a huge success. I love that it comes with thermal paper, so you don't have to refill ink cartridges. It was very easy to use and took pretty good pictures. Charging was easy, and it's held up well with regular use. I highly recommend it.

So much fun! I bought this for my daughter months ago and didn't hang it up until Christmas. She's only three, so I knew it would be a great toy. She loves taking pictures, and because it's receipt paper, I don't feel guilty letting her take as many as she wants. The prints are a little blurry, but that's to be expected. Honestly, it's just a lovely gift, and I'm happy that she loves taking pictures so much. Perfect for the little one.

Fun to print AND save. This is a really fun camera for kids, but adults will enjoy it too. It prints little arcade style black and white prints, and you can choose between two styles: dot matrix and smooth. The print quality is good if you have good lighting and medium contrast, meaning the image can't be too dark and can't have very bright areas. But the good thing is that each image is saved to the microSD card, so you can print it out in color later on a proper printer. I've tried all the other instant color cameras, but they're more expensive because of both the hardware and the paper, and 90% of the time the prints are terrible anyway, so it's quite nice to be able to print black and white photos instantly but still be able to select the best photos for proper printing later.

Cute and fun. I bought this for my 6 year old niece. She loved it, but the pictures wrinkle and tear easily, so make sure you have somewhere to put them when you're out and about. It took a while to figure out all the buttons, but it was fun! She loves the different frames you can add.

Fun for two year olds. My toddler loves taking pictures of EVERYTHING. Almost 150 pictures in one day! The ability to turn off the print function in this situation is invaluable. But if she wants to print the whole roll, it's still cheaper than Fuji. I wish there was a version with minimal, simplified features so she could operate it herself, but still be able to shoot independently once set up.

Great gift for my child. I bought this about five months ago for my six year old, and he loves it. He takes pictures of people, toys, drawings, etc. He's used about one and a half rolls of paper so far. The battery is quite good. The print quality is as expected, but for a child who loves to take a photo of everything and print it out instantly, it's fantastic. He also likes the games on it, which add extra entertainment. He has about 150 photos saved on it; I'm not sure how many more will fit. It's survived several drops and being swung around. The strap is handy for wearing it around his neck. The photo I placed next to the camera was taken by him of our dog's fluffy rear end. I'm really happy with this purchase, and he loves it.

Perfect gift for my almost three year old! We bought this as a gift from my newborn to my three year old, and it was a huge hit! Perfect for meeting the new sibling in the hospital. It's still a bit advanced for him, but he loves being able to take photos and videos with a little help. I love that you can get photos printed and save them to the included MicroSD card. The photo quality is decent for the price of the camera. There are also cute filters/frames you can put on the photos. I would definitely recommend it.

I love it! My 4 and 6 year olds absolutely love it and play with it constantly. Highly recommend it. We only use the photo and print option. We ran out of ink after about a month, so I'll have to find out. But admittedly, they took a LOT of photos. Paper is perfectly fine.

Great camera, but the games are shaky. I bought one of these cameras for each of my children, and they both love them. They're 1.5 and 4 years old. The only downside is that the cameras have a game mode with truly terrible, unintuitive controls. I don't understand why you'd need something like that on a camera, and I wish they'd just left this feature out. Because it's there, my kids try to use it and end up needing a lot of help. If it weren't there, they'd happily carry on taking photos and printing without noticing the difference.

Great for kids. My 8 year old loves this camera. The pictures are grainy, but he easily gives them to his friends or makes little scrapbook pages with them. He also loves the video function and watches the videos of himself and his friends over and over again. The only problem is that the automatic printing turns off, and I'm not sure how to re enable it or how it was disabled in the first place.

6 Year Old Daughter: My 6 year old daughter loves this camera. It has a chip for saving photos and games, and it can record videos. My daughter got it for her birthday, and it was her absolute favorite gift. Pros: Easy to use, easy to set up, rechargeable, happy with the battery life, durable. Cons: No touchscreen, pictures are black and white and not very sharp. My 6 year old isn't bothered by the cons at all and loves the camera. I also have a 3.5 year old son who loves the camera too. He can take pictures with a little help turning on the camera and selecting the camera features, but has trouble switching to the other features like games, videos, etc. without help. He can't really play the games because you have to use the buttons.

The settings seem to be wrong. I'm not sure, but something seems wrong with this camera. It stopped printing pictures on the third day we had it. Instead, all the photos seem to be saved to the SIM card. I've tried all sorts of settings, changed the paper, reset the camera, and can't change anything. It worked perfectly; the photos are black and white and came quickly. I'll contact the seller to see if I figured out anything else. It's a perfect first camera for the five year old. I'll give it 5 stars when I get it back to taking pictures.
